Dog rules for Beaches in Sandwich, Mass.
Saltwater beaches:

Dogs are prohibited from saltwater beaches (including dunes and parking areas) from April 1 – September 15
- Dogs are allowed on saltwater beaches from September 16 – March 31
All other beaches:
- Dogs are prohibited from freshwater beaches from May 15 – September 15
- Dogs are allowed on freshwater beaches from September 16 – May 14
Beach Stickers / Passes are required daily at all beach locations starting on June 20th from 9am to 4pm, and at Ryder Conservation Gate from 10am to 6pm.

Beach parking stickers (daily or seasonal) are available at the town of sandwich’s website. You can also purchase daily or weekly stickers at the gatehouses.
