There’s no better place to meet friendly dogs than at one of these dog parks on cape cod. Take off the leash and let off some steam! Jump to a town:
barnstable
barnstable dog park
The Barnstable Dog Park opened in 2018 and is located next to Hathaway’s Pond at 1431 Phinney’s Lane
The 22-acre location near Hathaway’s pond will feature areas for large dogs, small dogs, and a training area. The proposed layout includes a fence that will be rounded so dogs won’t be able to get cornered. We can’t wait to try this park out!
Brewster
The Brewster dog park opened in May 2022 and is located at 631 Harwich Road (Route 124) in Brewster, MA. The park is open dawn to dusk, and offers a one acre area for large dogs and a half acre area for small dogs. Visit the Brewster dog park website.
Dennis

cape cod’s first off-leash dog park, fresh pond dog park in dennis is a cozy fenced in with two enclosed areas set aside a swimming pond and 1/2 mile dog hiking trail in the woods. It’s a wonderful place.
fresh pond dog park is located off exit 9a of route 6, on the westbound side of route 134 in dennis, 1/2 mile after upper county road.
Falmouth
Falmouth Dog Park
The Falmouth Dog Park is a 1.6 acre site on town-owned land with two fenced play areas for dogs. There are separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. Both areas are covered with pea stones and sand and include benches, water bubblers, and waste disposal cans.
Note: During the winter months, the water is turned off. Please bring water for your pets.

Mashpee
Mashpee Dog Park is opened in the summer of 2015. It is located at 180 Ashumet Road, Mashpee, MA.
COVID-19 restriction for 2021: The Mashpee Dog Park continues to operate with limited capacity.
The following COVID-19 restrictions remain in place until further notice:
- The park is open to Mashpee residents only.
- 10 people maximum in the park at any one time.
- Face covering is required.
- Stay home if you or your dog are sick.
- Toys or balls, of any kind, are not allowed.
- Sharing of water, and bowls, is not allowed

Provincetown
pilgrim bark park
Pilgrim bark park is located on the corner of route 6 and shank painter road in provincetown, ma. It seems like it’s the only free parking in p-town.
$200,000 buys you a nice dog park these days, evidenced by pilgrim bark park’s dog water fountain, dog memorial, and even a dog art gallery if your dog is so inclined. provincetown was voted the most dog-friendly town in america, and pilgrim bark park is a prime example of why.
pilgrim bark park is a great stopover on your way from route 6 into provincetown, the perfect place to let your dog run off some steam before heading to the dog-friendly haven that is commercial street.

but to true cape beach dogs, enclosed dog parks are nice… but they pale aside the lure of the tail-wagging fun to be had at the off-leash dog beach of nearby. Check out the dog beach off of commercial street for the dog park experience on the sandy shores of Provincetown Harbor.

Yarmouth
Yarmouth dog park
The yarmouth dog park is located at the sandy pond recreation area, at 452–474 Buck Island Road in Yarmouth.
The park opened in 2015. It is a 26,000 square foot park with three separate enclosed areas to accommodate large dogs, small dogs, and an area for shy dogs or those in training.
